How We Measure Time

People measure time in many different ways. Two of the most popular are BC and AD. BC means Before Christ, and AD means Anno Domini (it means The Year of Our Lord in Latin). A third method is called BCE, which means Before Christian Era, and it is gradually starting to replace BC. However, we will only be using BC in this course.
